How to Evaluate the Types of Fundraiser Programs

There is a wide selection of fundraiser programs available today. Fundraiser programs are perfect for schools, churches, and community groups. Many nonprofit organizations use fundraiser programs to supplement traditional fundraising campaigns.

Fundraiser programs are predesigned and prepackaged items that any group can purchase and sell. Awareness products are examples of fundraiser programs. A common awareness product is rubber or silicone bracelets that represent specific causes. Pink rubber bracelets represent breast cancer awareness. Black rubber bracelets represent POW/MIA awareness and remembrance. You can also sell ribbon car magnets and ribbon pins to promote awareness of the same issues as the bracelets. Purchase the awareness product in bulk. Sell each item for more than you paid, and you have a fundraiser.

Another fundraiser program is predesigned t-shirts. These are particularly common for churches. The design is usually from popular culture with a religious bent. For example, the slogan "got milk?" becomes "got jesus?" These t-shirts are not designed for any particular church. Rather, any Christian church group can purchase these t-shirts and sell them as a fundraiser. There are similar fundraiser programs for every religious group, awareness group, and general cause.

Patriotic products can be sold at any time. You can sell flag decals for home windows. Kids can sell bumper stickers. T-shirts with the flag or an eagle design remain popular. Both adults and children, men and women, wear these t-shirts, making them great fundraising products. Real American flags are also available as fundraisers.

Just about any fundraiser program can be customized to better fit your cause. You can purchase rubber bracelets with your group name or message. Ribbon car magnets can be personalized. T-shirts are obviously customizable. Any product that you customize will cost more than the predesigned products. However, depending on your cause or organization, the cost may well be worth it to increase awareness in the community. Eventually, the increased awareness will result in increased fundraising revenue.

Fundraiser programs are perfect if you are looking for fast and easy ways to raise money for your cause. You have no time frame in which to sell the products. You can sell them to anyone anywhere. They really are the best low-cost fundraisers available.
